In 2024-2025, more than 5,850 St. Joe’s staff members supported every birth, recovery and act of care, including 662 active medical professionals, 3,687 learners, more than 300 volunteers and 40 family advisors.

St. Joe’s has created a multi-disciplinary working group to address workplace violence, which includes hospital leadership, subject matter experts, a patient and family advisor and frontline staff.

Nursing Orientation program

To date, 137 learners have participated in the Nursing Orientation program which includes new pre- and post-surveys to assess self-efficacy and readiness to practice, the integration of self-care and wellness principles especially in high-stress areas like critical care.
